This week’s focus is on fruit, vegetables, & energy levels. Fruit and veggies contain more fibre than most other food and drinks. Fibre is the indigestible parts of plant foods, including veggies, fruits, grains, beans and legumes.
The increase in fibre allows for a lower GI rating. Meaning, longer lasting energy as well as feeling fuller for longer! This may eliminate/ reduce unwanted snacking and over-eating. More fibre = longer lasting energy.
