This week’s focus is on fruit, vegetables, & energy levels. Fruit and veggies contain more fibre than most other food and drinks. Fibre is the indigestible parts of plant foods, including veggies, fruits, grains, beans and legumes.
The recipes for this week are perfect for those times when you may not have a whole lot of fresh fruit or vegetables available at home. Sometimes, we need to make compromises and use frozen foods or other ingredients.
With the kids scouting out this years hunt we recommend those us with some free time take a look at this weeks recipes to make sure everyone has at least one nutritious meal to balance out the chocolate this Easter. It is our hope to encourage those of us living off chocolate for the next month to put down the Malteaser bunny and pick up a spatula.
